She gave him a fake smile before taking Liam's hand and pulling him towards the lab. She stopped when Kal got in her way.
"Irrilia, please let me explain."

"Irrilia--" Kal pleaded taking Irrilia's hand, at least he tried to but was cut off from Liam, one of the twins he knew so little about. He rose his brow, snorting. "What are you gonna do shorty?"
"Dont touch her without her say or Ill kick your scaly butt."
Kal smiled, looking amused. "Irrilia doesnt need some pipsqueak like you to fight her battles. Why not go back to kindergarden to take a nap."
"Irrilia, please let me explain."

Kal pondered on that, deciphering if he was hurt or accepting, he could be hurt and self wallow or think about her. The woman he liked ever since he was little. His window came to a close when he left. He sucked in a breah, his eyes on Raph.
"It did. But it wouldn't be fair for me to just leave and not accept the consequences." Shaking his head. "We may have been in separable back then sir. But I see someone else came to her aid. I lost my chance, but I think just being there for her when she needs me will be good enough for me."
Raph rose a brow. "That's really mature of you Kal. Wasnt expecting a brat like you would ever say that."
"Ive been away sir. I've matured since the last time you saw me. I plan on gaining back your respect and acceptance."

Leo stopped as his face changed, from annoyed and concerned to downright fearful. Kal and Tig had the same faces on as all three stared past Koji. Koji turned around in a slow fashion to see the demon up right. His eyes glowing green and his wings spread out. In a quick motion Leo tore away his fear and his leader side kicked in. He got in front of Koji and shoved the turtle back into Tig and Kal, who caught the surprised turtle. Leo held out his swords, glaring at the demon.
Kavaxas let out a demonic laugh, "You really think those swords will protect you?" He asked. "But I must say thank you for getting that thorn outta my wing. It was really kind of you. I may just make your deaths painless to show my gratitude."
"Or!" Kal started, holding onto Koji's arm. "You can just let us go and you do you bro."

"Arlet." He called his sisters name making the girl with only padding on her legs and arms. Her blue eyes set on him, "Kal?" She dropped the pot, her face transformed from confused into glee in a matter of seconds. Arlet hurried to her brother, throwing her arms out. "Kal!" She cheered, jumping forward, leaping on her brother making them both roll into a cart nearby, Kal smacking his back into it and his head but he didnt pay attention to the mild pain as he looked at his sister that had her legs around him and her arms. She showered his face with kisses. Normally he'd hate this, but since not seeing her in so long he couldnt decline.

The woman held the small child in her arms, looking at the small face. Watching her little girl reveal her baby blue eyes for the first time, emotions hit not just her, but Mikey. Mikey was there next to her, his arm around her, his smile was ear to ear. His eyes sparkled as he looked at his daughter. Ginger smiled at him before looking back at her now cooing daughter who looked curious at the world around her. She let out a breath she was holding, "She's beautiful."
"Do you have a name for her?" Hope asked as she stood by April.
Ginger looked at her boyfriend, Mikey's grinned more, his eyes on Ginger before going back to his newborn girl. "Her name is Mieko. Beautiful name for a beautiful girl."
